About

Photo of how I remember my college dorm room.

This blog isn’t a business. It doesn’t want to motivate you, fix you, or sell you anything. It’s just me having fun and unloading the weird, random, and sometimes messed up thoughts in my head.

I’m a Gen X creative with punk rock roots who still thinks sarcasm counts as a life skill. I grew up on loud music, bad TV, and the belief that you can question everything and still give a damn. This is where I rant about life, tech, art, marketing, my dog, and whatever else feels worth yelling into the void about.

Some of it will make sense. Most of it won’t. Either way, it’s honest.

Who am I? Just another Gen X smart ass with too many opinions, a dog who gets me, and a playlist that could start a riot.

I’m a proud husband, dad, and grandpa. I grew up when MTV played music videos, phones had cords, and mixtapes were how you told someone you cared. I’m Gen X through and through, equal parts cynic and dreamer, raised on punk, drank from he hose, and the idea that you figure things out as you go.

I’ve spent my life creating stuff that blends art, tech, and storytelling. I’ve led marketing teams, launched brands, painted murals, built websites, and learned a lot of lessons the hard way. I believe in doing good work with good people and not taking life too seriously while doing it.

At the end of the day, my personal core values still guide me.

  • Core Beliefs
  • Kindness Matters
  • Love is Love
  • No Human is Illegal
  • Women’s Rights are Human Rights
  • Animals are Friends not Food
  • Science is Real
  • Our Planet is Precious
